‘Persephone’ – A very limited edition of 9 handprinted silk screen prints.

IMPORTANT: Each piece is handprinted by me in my home studio and as such no print is the same, each differs in some way or another and none are ‘perfect’. To celebrate the coming of Spring, Mother’s Day and Easter, I have designed and created this 5 layer silk screen print depicting a hound nestled amongst spring foliage and daffodils. I chose daffodils as they are, for me, the epitome of the first signs of spring and it always fills me with an inner happiness and excitement to know that winter is finally over, the days are getting longer and the weather should be improving. Daffodils to me signify new life and hope.
